  1. The screenplay that we wrote for Rocky Bansin was inspired by a true story based on the life of an inventor named Jim Song. I must admit that when Rocky first explained the concept for the screenplay titled "Just Add Water" I was initially intrigued, yet somewhat skeptical primarily because the product in question (the Germ Terminator) dealt with dental hygiene. It wasn't until I learned more about the vital benefits of the Germ Terminator and especially when I learned more about Jim and what he went through to accomplish his goals and dreams that I realized I would be helping to bring a positive story to life. Seeing the sincerity in Jim's eyes as he was being interivewed on 60 Minutes, and watching his kind demeanor as he pitched his invention to the buying public on the Home Shopping Network made me like him even more, because we've all seen the slithery salesman or the underpaid actor trying to sell a product that to them is no more than a quick paycheck, but with Jim there was something more. Something honest and real. He believed in his product and was willing to stand behind it wholeheartedly. Jim's passion, trails and tribulations inspired me, and by writing "Just Add Water" I hope it will inspire others to take risks to follow their dreams as well. Actually come to think of it, he was probably a big part of the inspiration that encouraged me to invest my life savings, travel to the other side of the world, and film an incredibly risky movie that I truly believe in and that I too am willing to stand wholeheartedly behind.
